Kolari Magnetic Clip-in Filters for Sony APS-C
Our magnetic clip-in filters for full-frame Sony E-mount cameras are among our most popular filters. For a long time now, Sony shooters have been asking if we could expand our magnetic filters to Sony’s line of APS-C mirrorless cameras.

To start off this Summer of Innovation, we’re proud to announce our Kolari Magnetic Clip-in Filters for APS-C Sony E-mount Cameras! Magnetic clip-in filters sit inside the camera’s interior, where they magnetically attach to the inner mount above the sensor and behind the camera’s lens. Since the inner mount is recessed in Sony APS-C cameras, the filter can sit flush within the camera’s interior. You won’t have to worry about compatibility issues when swapping lenses!
New IR Chrome Lens Filter Sizes
For Week 2 of our Summer of Innovation, we’re now expanding our range of filter sizes for our IRChrome Lens Filter to fit 39mm, 40.5mm, 43mm, 46mm, and 95mm filter thread sizes.
Candy Chrome Lens Filter
After more than a year of development, we are happy to announce our Candy Chrome filter, the newest infrared lens filter that comes as the newest item for our third week of our Summer of Innovation!
The CandyChrome filter can create lush pink foliage with beautiful turquoise skies & waters after a red and blue channel swap. With further post-production techniques, a variety of deep red or gold tones can be achieved with LUTs designed by Pierre-Louis Ferrer!
With this drop of our new filter, we are happy to announce that we will be putting out a new infrared filter each and every year!
Whereas Candy Chrome can be used like other infrared filters, like the 720nm or the 590nm filters, it can achieve unique colors and shades. In this article, you will see how the Candy Chrome filter compares with our 550nm and IR Chrome infrared filters with various post-production techniques and LUTs.

Drone Kits and Full-Spectrum Service Available for DJI Mavic 3 Drone series
Part of our Summer of Innovation was bringing infrared and ultraviolet capabilities to the DJI Mavic 3 drone series! With this service, we can convert the Mavic 3 Classic camera and Mavic 3 Pro wide-angle camera (including cine variants) to full-spectrum.
While we are actively developing our own IR filters for the Mavic 3 series drones, these are not yet available. In the meantime, we are able to create custom filters for this drone model’s camera sensor on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out directly to our customer service team for custom filter requests.

We are now happy to bring infrared and full-spectrum capabilities to the DJI Osmo Action 4. We can convert the camera to full-spectrum in this service, allowing full compatibility with infrared lens filters. All conversions include a professional focus recalibration to infinity. You have the option to convert your Osmo 4 Action to full-spectrum or purchase an already-converted camera.

With an EF—RF mount adapter, you can even pair it with your legacy clip-in filters for added versatility (ultra-slim on the bottom, then regular or slim frame on top).

When used with a full-spectrum converted Nikon Z-mount camera, this filter delivers the exact color balance of a stock Nikon camera.

I’m very happy to read the IRchrome filters now feature a deeper, more useful front thread. I would like to point out, however, that the provided link in the blog post and in the announcement emails brings the viewer to the IRchrome page which still warns against stacking filters. I passed on purchasing a new filter until I can confirm what I add to my cart is the newer version.
