*The SX50 has an internal IR led monitor that can cause light leaks when using very long exposures and high ISOs in the H-alpha and IR enabled conversions, in the range of 30 second exposures at 6,400 ISO. The SX60 may also have this issue but we have not been able to verify yet.
A note about model names:
Canon cameras usually come with three names for each model depending on where the camera was released: Powershot, Digital Ixus, and Ixy Digital. Listed above is only the American model version, you can check here to see how your model number translates.

Warranty
All of our conversions and converted or modified cameras come with a 1 year warranty for post-conversion malfunctions and electronic issues related to the conversion service.
This warranty does not include wear and tear repairs such as, but not limited to; shutter failure. Warranty does not cover user-caused damage, or other issues unrelated to our conversion services or camera modifications.
For more comprehensive coverage we highly recommend our Extend warranty, which also covers accidental damage.

Processing Time
Our standard turnaround time for camera conversions is 2 weeks on average for most models. This is only an estimate and not a guarantee. Our standard turnaround time may occasionally exceed 2 weeks during our busy season (April-August) or take less than 2 weeks in our off-season (September-March).
We also offer 5-day and 1-2 day rush processing options on our camera conversions for an additional fee. Our rush services allow us to coordinate the logistics of your conversion ahead of time to meet your deadlines to the best of our ability. Our rush processing time does not include shipping times.
We do our best to accommodate each and every one of our customers year-round.
If ordering one of our pre-converted cameras, keep in mind that they are made to order and are not eligible for rush processing. Please allow at least 2 weeks before your camera ships out to you. Plan for trips and assignments accordingly!
Any time frames that we provide, including shipping time, turnaround time, and rush processing times, are only estimates and are subject to availability. We make no guarantees on service time or shipping times.

We’re happy to announce that we’re taking the hassle and confusion out of shipping your camera back and forth to us for our conversion service. With our new prepaid mailer, we’ve turned shipping us your camera both ways into one streamlined and secure process. Here’s how it works!
When you place an order for a conversion and select the prepaid mailer option, we’ll send you a sealed box with everything you need already inside. The mailer should arrive to your door in 2-4 days.

Outstanding results! I paid another company over $150 for this same IR conversion and it failed. The photo results were grainy and had almost no color to them. Don’t be fooled, this is NOT an easy conversion process.

Before I sent my camera in, I figured I could just do it myself, using the very detailed DIY on the site here. I did get the hot mirror out and put it all back together with no problem.
But then the focus issue reared its head. So I sent it in to the pros and they did a perfect job installing a 720nm and calibrated the focus.
Then I also noticed that they’d gone the extra step to replace a couple screws that had been missing in my camera for years. Great job.
It’s also worth mentioning that I had a great dialog via email with the guys and they answered all my questions about my particular niche (aerial photography of agriculture).
Turnaround time was less than a week. I’m now including a link to their site with every picture I post and spreading the word.

After the first week of testing, I haven’t yet managed to create the promised hotspots with this cam, though Ilija assures me I’ll eventually figure out how to combine the right set of conditions! I have been doing Digital Infrared for about 10 years with a Minolta DiMage 7 which was designed without a Infrared cutoff filter in front of the sensor.
Using a IR filter in front of the lens I could do I.R. with the camera on a tripod. Exposure was such that I could not hand hold the camera.
Have been looking for a company that could modify a point and shoot at a reasonable price and found it in KolariVision. Not only did they do it very well but delivered it in less than a week.

I order the Canon SX60HS full spectrum and the Evolva IR T67 torch that works with the camera for long distances. I paid for it and had no reservations because of the excellent reviews the company has.
