Clearance filters will arrive with cosmetic defects. Examples of a cosmetic defect are light surface scratches or other small defects in the filter glass itself. These issues will have very little to no effect whatsoever on image quality. However, due to their appearance, they can not be sold as brand-new, unused items.
These external 9 Stop IR ND filters are perfect for adding to an IR conversion to slow down exposure time without stepping down. Useful for long exposure photography. These are high-quality polished glass filters, each with standard front and back threads. The filters are a neutral color but may change white balance slightly. You may have to set a custom white balance again when using this filter.
