Compatibility
This filter requires a Full-Spectrum digital camera only! It is not compatible with normal stock cameras.
Disclaimer: While this filter is designed to replicate Kodak Aerochrome directly out-of-camera with a full-spectrum camera, all camera models/sensors will have subtle variation and color and results will vary. Sony cameras in particular tend to create images where foliage appears more orange than red. This is easily correctable, and a modest hue adjustment from orange to red in post-processing will create the advertised results.

I love this filter ! ! ! As promised it has amazing color rendition without having to swap channels in post. It’s also possible to use the view finder instead of having to use live view which can be a challenge on a sunny day.

It was a bit long to get mine, but I knew it before buying since Kolari tells everything about production on product page, and gives regular updates. And I must tell I had good interactions with Kolari service when asking for delays: nice and straight answers from William, thumbs up 🙂
I just played a bit with this filter, sadly it came after all my photographic opportunities for this summer, I should have ordered it earlier, my fault. But after a week playing with it, I can say it gave me good results. I am stunned with colors I got OOC, even if it was not the strong red like in sample shots, more on the orange side. I suspect it comes from a combination of my custom WB and lights I got when shooting (mostly overcast), I just had to play with HSL sliders to correct that.
This filter broadens the uses of a full-spectrum converted camera. Nice 🙂

I’ve ordered a few filters from Kolari Vision and every time the customer service and after sales have been exemplary. Outside of simple cropping or things like that I’ve never really enjoyed post all that much. This filter is fantastic in that it makes for some beautiful shots, and doesn’t require any channel swapping or much of anything after the fact. Quality wise it seems well made and fairly sturdy, or at least seems sturdier than other filters I have at that size, at the end of the day it’s still a piece of glass after all. I see mine getting a lot of use especially now even more with summer coming.

The filter works great with my full spectrum converted EOS RP. The resulting images are incredible, there is no need to make a lot of intricate post-process. Only need to adjust the white balance depending on the light. Good work.

The filter is absolutely top. It is used on my Fuji XF 10-24mm zoom on a Fuji X-T2 Full Spectrum. There are no hot spot or color fringing. The photos are stunning. It is my fourth IR Chrome filter, but the first for a super wide angle lens.

I continue to be impressed by the capabilities of this filter when used on a full spectrum camera. It’s pretty much effortless to get the look you’re after. Be aware that it will reveal any deficiency in the lens (color fringing, for example), so it is best utilized with well corrected lenses. Build quality is excellent and the coatings are very durable.
