Our Kolari Pro Solar ND Filters are the perfect solution for safely capturing stunning images of the upcoming Solar Eclipse. Our Kolari Pro ND Gorilla Glass Filters are built with premium ultra-thin, ultra-strong Corning Gorilla Glass, this filter is more than two times stronger than normal glass optical glass to in regard to direct impacts and more resistant to scratches for better long-term durability, all while also boasting a high internal transmission and low refractive index.

Our Kolari Pro Magnetic Filter Set is crafted with precision and quality in mind, these filters feature Schott B270 glass, renowned for its optical clarity and durability. The ultra-light yet robust CNC-machined aluminum ring ensures a secure and seamless attachment to your lens while allowing for hassle-free filter stacking in the field.

Designed for versatility, our magnetic ND filters can be stacked in a quick and efficient manner. Simply place one filter over the other, and it will snap right into place via the use of magnets. Pointing your camera directly at the sun can be dangerous for your camera. The bright, focused  light from the sun focused through your camera lens can burn a hole straight through your shutter blades or even worse, your sensor.

We recommend using at least a 15-stop ND filter to protect your camera against damage while photographing the sun. You can also combine lower strength ND filters, as long as they stack up to at least 15-stops of light reduction.

DO NOT look through the optical viewfinder on your DSLR camera when pointing it at the sun, even when using an ND filter, and DO NOT look directly at the sun through an ND filter. These filters are not rated for your eyes, and your eyes will be damaged if you do this.

However, it is perfectly safe to use live view or look through the EVF on a mirrorless camera.
