Description
Our Kolari Magnetic Clip-in Filters for RF-Mount (Neutral Density) provide an easy way to control light and exposure, adding rear filtration options to your setup. By reducing the amount of light entering the lens, our ND filters allow for slower shutter speeds, wider apertures, and a range of creative effects, giving you more control over motion blur and depth of field in bright conditions. Compatible with Canon RF cameras. (See compatible cameras below)
Engineered with the professional-grade optics that Kolari is renowned for, these filters are securely housed in a CNC-machined aluminum magnetic frame designed to maximize lens compatibility. This universal solution fits perfectly with lenses lacking filter threads and can be paired with external lens filters for added filtration effects.
For even more versatility, you can pair these filters with our Kolari EF-EOS R Drop-In Filter Mount Adapter, allowing for three layers of filtration.
Filter Options
3-Stop ND – Good for slightly reducing light in bright conditions. Useful for maintaining a wide aperture to blur backgrounds or for light motion blur in water and people.
6-Stop ND – Provides moderate light reduction. Ideal for long exposures during the day to soften motion in clouds, waterfalls, or crowds without overexposing the image.
10-Stop ND – Strong light-blocking filter. Great for dramatic long exposures that smooth out water, blur skies, and remove moving elements from scenes in bright daylight.
Compatibility
Our Kolari R Clip-In Filters are compatible with the Canon EOS RP, R, R1, R3, R5, R6, R6 II, R8, R7, R10 & R100**!
The Canon EOS RP, R8, and crop-sensor models (R7, R10 & R100) have a non-magnetic plastic inner mount but we provide a magnetic mounting plate with our filters that easily convert your RP, R7, R10 & R100 to be compatible with our magnetic clip-in filters.
The R, R3, R5, R6, R6 II are slightly magnetic but a mag mount is highly recommended for best functionality, additional strength, and protecting the baseplate from scratches.
* The R50 is not supported at this time.
* The Canon RF-S 18-150 lens is not compatible with our standard or slim clip-in filters.
*APS-C mount considerations (R50, R100, R7, R10). The APSC RF-S cameras have slightly smaller mounts and have reduced compatibility. The R10 and R7 are compatible with our regular clip ins, but the R50 and R100 are only compatible with the slim and ultra slim version. We highly recommend the ultra-slim frame style to maximize compatibility with these cameras. Please note, stacking is not supported on these cameras.
*The Canon RF 28mm f/2.8 and the Canon RF 28-70mm f/2.8 are not compatible with our standard or slim clip-in filters.
* The Canon RF-S 18-150mm and RF-S 10-20mm lenses are not compatible with our standard or slim clip-in filters.
* Metabones EF to RF Speed Booster Ultra 0.71x is not compatible with our standard, slim, or ultra-slim clip-in filters. Other speed boosters may not be compatible with clip-ins.
