Join us on an amazing journey to some of the most impressive scenery in the world and unique in the list of Landscapes of Latin America. Kolari & Hernán Calderón will take you on an unforgettable photographic journey around the most beautiful sites in Bolivia. You will have the opportunity to witness unique sunsets, visit impressive landscapes, be in a place where the sky meets the Earth, and see the most beautiful starry skies with the naked eye that will awaken the inspiration and the creative artist in you. If you feel this is for you, be part of a photographic trip of 10 days and 9 nights, full of activities and places that you can capture in photographs.
The Workshop Photo Tour Bolivia 2022, begins and ends in the city of La Paz – Bolivia, from the 24th of April to 3rd of May 2022.
It is very important that you organize your arrival and departure from this point. The city of La Paz has an international airport and bus terminal for you to consider. We recommend you schedule your arrival at the city of La Paz in advance of the date of entry for a good adaptation to the altitude and your return from the date and time of the end of the event.
Itinerary
Day 1
08:00 – 12:00 Hotel check-in and registration.
12:30 – Welcome Lunch.
15:00 – 19:00 Infrared Workshop (getting ready for the adventure).
20:30 – Group dinner in the city, return to the hotel, and rest for day 2.
Day 2
06:00 – Breakfast at the hotel.
07:00 – Departure towards Sajama.
12:00 – 14:00 Arrival into the refuge in the Sajama National Park
and group lunch.
15:00 – 20:30 Photo shooting Laguna Huayna Khota and Nevado
Sajama. (Sunset and night)
21:00 – Return to the Refuge, Dinner, and rest.
Day 3
04:30 – 06:30 Photo shooting Sajama National Park. (Dawn)
07:00 – 12:00 Return to the refuge, breakfast, and rest.
12:30 – Group Lunch.
16:00 – 20:30 Photo shooting Laguna Isla. (Sunset and Night)
21:00 – Return to the refuge, dinner.
23:00 – 24:00 Photo shooting outside the Refuge. (Night with
Milky Way)
Day 4
07:00 – Breakfast at the Refuge.
08:00 – Departure to Uyuni. (7hrs. To 8hrs. on route)
12:30 – Lunch, gastronomic stop in the city of Oruro.
16:00 – 17:00 Arrival in Uyuni and photo shooting at the Flat Salt. (Sunset), subject to actual arrival time.
19:30 – Check-in at the Salt Hotel and group dinner.
22:00 – 24:00 Photo shooting Flat Salt Uyuni. (Night and Milky
Way)
Day 5
01:00 07:00 continuation of the previous night’s photo shooting with a short rest on the route. (Night with Milky Way and
Sunrise).
08:00 Return to the Hotel, breakfast, and rest.
12:30 Group Lunch.
15:00 City Tour in Uyuni, photo shooting Flat Salt Uyuni. (Sunset)
20:00 Return to Hotel, dinner, and rest.
Day 6
08:00 Breakfast at the Hotel.
10:30 Start of the Photographic and Tourist Tour of Uyuni. Tour of the most emblematic places of Uyuni and its surroundings. (Train, cemetery, Colchani town, heaps of salt, the eyes of the salt flat, the Playa Blanca hotel, the hexagons, the Fish Island, giant cacti, and we continue to the town of Chuvica.)
Day 7
07:00 2nd. Day of the Photographic and Tourist Tour of Uyuni. Tour of the most emblematic places of Uyuni and its surroundings. (We continue to the south visiting the town of San Juan, and we visit the Chiguana salt flat, the Ollague volcano, the 5 small lagoons, (Cañapa, Hedionda, Chirakota, Ramaditas) then we cross the Siloli desert, pyroclastic volcanoes, stone tree, we arrive at the Colorada lagoon and spend the 2nd night in the Huallajara refuge)
Day 8
03:00 3rd. Day of the Photographic and Tourist Tour of Uyuni. Tour of the most emblematic places of Uyuni and its surroundings. (We continue to the Geysers, the hot springs, we cross the Dali desert, Green lagoon, Licancabur Volcano.)
19:30 End of the Photographic and Tourist Tour of Uyuni.
20:00 Dinner Group.
21:00 Return to the city of La Paz.
Day 9
06:00 – 08:00 Arrival in La Paz city, check-in at the Hotel, breakfast, and rest.
12:30 Group Lunch.
15:00 – 19:30 Photo shooting through the city of La Paz and its
surroundings. (Sunset)
20:00 Dinner and rest, night free.
Day 10
08:00 Breakfast.
09:30 – 12:30 Post-processing workshop and closure meeting.
13:30 Group farewell lunch.
15:00 End of the Workshop Photo Tour Bolivia 2022.

Airfare tickets to/from Bolivia.
Insurance for photographic equipment and luggage.

PHOTOGRAPHIC EQUIPMENT
There are no limits on the photographic equipment you want to take on this trip, although we advise you to always travel as light as possible.

Backup batteries for all the equipment you use.

All participants and instructors must complete the full covid vaccine scheme (1st, 2nd, and boost doses of any Covid Vaccine).
You must send evidence of this information when you complete your registration for the Workshop
All participants and instructors must have a negative PCR of 48 hours before the start of the workshop
All participants and instructors must wear a mask during our photography trips when social distancing cannot be practiced.
Instructors will not touch your equipment unless absolutely necessary, and if they do, they will use hand sanitizer before handling equipment.
