The Invisible Light of the Blue Ridge Parkway

The Blue Ridge Parkway is a ribbon of road that extends from Virginia through North Carolina for 469 miles. Its scenic beauty includes wide range of climate, vegetation, wildlife and geological features. There are sweeping vistas, pastoral landscapes, rugged mountains, and breathtaking waterfalls.
Many photographers tour the parkway during the fall season for the leaf colors. I have used infrared to document the invisible light on the Blue Ridge Parkway during the day and also at night.
