Lost

While visiting an area close to where I grew up, I decided to take my infrared camera to photograph a new landscape in IR. When planning the trip, I was excited to see the scenery that I still considered home – the east coast is a very different atmosphere than Phoenix, where I currently live.
Upon arriving, I felt as if I was hit with a save of sadness – missing an area that had once felt so familiar to me, and realizing that this was no longer my home. I wandered through the landscape, searching for something, but not knowing what it was. This photograph, “Lost” portrays my feeling of being lost in a place that I had once been so comfortable in, searching for something that I may never find.
