Auzwitz death camp

This was my second visit to Poland. I was performing there both times. The first visit in 1987 was during a summer festival and I had a major rehearsal with the orchestra while my entire entourage had the day off and they got the chance to tour Auzwitz. I did not.
I got the opportunity this summer to return to Poland and between performance dates I requested to be taken there. It was about a 2 hour drive from where I was staying. When We arrive unbeknownst to me, there was a line a block long which would have taken us a couple of hours to get into the property. So disappointed again I did not get to enter the premises. I was on a tight schedule. All I was able to shoot was a side exit area. It was still eerie and very depressing. I tried to create an infrared that would represent the mood I was in. Kind of blue.
