The Sandbar was the old Swimming Hole in Hackettstown, NJ when I was a kid. My Mother would take my sister and me swimming there. There was a Lifeguard and a Snack Bar. We would swim in the Musconetcong River. Much has changed in the 70-75 years since then. A few years ago they removed a downstream dam. This reduced the depth of the river from 8-9 feet in the center to about a foot when I was there on Aug. 18, 2022. This view is looking upstream from the beach. The lens is an EFS 18-55 mm, ISO 100, 23 mm, f/8, 15 S.
