After looking at different portraits shot, I wanted to do something unique that isn’t normally seen in infrared portrait photography. I specifically looked for a model that could imitate an anime like scene while showing a great contrast in detail of the human veins. This boxer showed exactly what I was looking for.
Swirling Leaves
These leaves were swirling beneath a waterfall in a local state park. A 30 second exposure was able to catch the circular pattern.
Autumn River
This contrast of the river movement and the stationary rocks caught my attention. A 30 second exposure smoothed out the water.
Crabtree Falls
This waterfall off the Blue Ridge Parkway is a popular spot for visitors. I wanted to create a different sort of image with IR and long exposure.
