Shoubi Nanshan

“Shoubi Nanshan” has two ancient buildings on the mountain in Changle Nanshan Park. Looking at the drum tower I reflected on how our own lives and the memories of my parents can be preserved like ancient buildings forever!

Lianjiang Fishing Festival

On August 16 this year, the Lianjiang Fishing Festival took place near the Back Mountain in Fujian province China. This is the start of the regatta with hundreds of fishing boats taking off on their way to the open sea for the day’s fishing competition.

Listening to the Drums in the Mirror

This is a famous ancient building called “Nanshan Drum Tower” in Nanshan Park, Changle District in Fuzhou.

Like Jade Rabbits

While photographing in Jinshan Park in the hot sun, I noticed the clouds floating over us. One of the clouds in the sky was shaped like a jade rabbit and formed a beautiful and moving picture over the lotus flowers in the water.

The Autumn Colors of West Lake

Taken in West Lake of Fuzhou. I used infrared channel swapping to create a tranquil autumn scene.

Hongtang Ancient Banyan Tree

“Hongtang Ancient Banyan Tree” was shot on the edge of Jinshan Temple in Fuzhou. There is a big banyan tree and in the distance the newly built Hongtang Bridge is visible. This scene let me reflect on the progress of modern life while still protecting the natural environment.
