Firebreak
One of the several firebreaks created in Pinhal de El` Rei, a Portuguese forest, with the purpose of ordering the forest area and limiting the spread of forest fires. In 2017, these paths proved to be incapable of stopping the major fire that devastated about 86% of the total forest area.

North Iceland along Route 1. Central to the scene is the seemingly endless valley with steep mountain bulwarks shadowed by the elaborately textured clouds extending as far as the eye can see. In a mostly overcast morning, the sun peeks through a small break in the clouds, a precursor to the coming spring warmth.
