The High Up Pine Trees
On the famous Mount HuangShan, there are oddly-shaped pines scattered around. Most of them don’t grow on the earth, but root on steep cliffs, alpine peaks and steep ravines. The photographic experience I had over Mount HuangShan some years ago was a memorable one, as I not only took IR photos of HuangShan Pines but also observed pines root in rocks but become sturdy, I felt a sense of vigor and vitality in them.
