Select Lumix cameras are designed without an internal anti-aliasing (AA) filter, which can result in moiré patterns when filming detailed textures such as fabrics, screens, or architectural elements. Our Optical Low-Pass Filter (OLPF) helps solve this issue by gently diffusing fine detail before it reaches the sensor, reducing moiré and false color artifacts while maintaining exceptional image clarity.

This clip-in design installs easily inside the camera body, allowing you to enjoy the benefits of an OLPF without any permanent modification. The OLPF Magnetic Clip-in Filter for Panasonic Lumix (L-Mount) was designed specifically for Panasonic Lumix S full-frame cameras featuring 24MP sensors and 6K recording capability. The filter was tuned and tested primarily with the Panasonic Lumix S5II, which serves as the reference model for optical frequency and pixel pitch.

All of the above cameras share similar sensor resolutions (approximately 24.2MP) and pixel pitches that align closely with the OLPF’s designed frequency response. In these models, the filter effectively reduces aliasing and moiré without introducing visible softness.

Partial Compatibility (Higher Resolution Sensors)

These models feature 47–60MP sensors with significantly smaller pixel pitches. While the filter will physically fit and can still reduce moiré to some extent, users may observe a mild softening effect in fine details—particularly in full-frame 8K or high-resolution capture modes.

Performance tends to improve when shooting in 6K APS-C crop or Pixel-for-Pixel modes, where the effective pixel pitch better aligns with the filter’s design frequency.
