Our Kolari Magnetic Clip-in Filters for RED KOMODO (Neutral Density) offer a compact, professional solution for controlling light and exposure. Designed specifically for the RED KOMODO, these ND filters mount securely inside the camera body, providing seamless rear filtration without affecting lens compatibility.
By reducing the amount of light entering the sensor, they allow for slower shutter speeds, wider apertures, and greater creative control over motion blur and depth of field—even in bright conditions. The CNC-machined aluminum magnetic frame ensures a secure fit and can be used alongside external lens filters for layered effects.
Whether you’re shooting long exposures, managing highlight detail, or achieving cinematic motion, these filters deliver the optical precision and reliability Kolari is known for.
For even more versatility, you can pair these filters with our Kolari EF-EOS R Drop-In Filter Mount Adapter, allowing for three total layers of filtration.
3-Stop ND – Good for slightly reducing light in bright conditions. Useful for maintaining a wide aperture to blur backgrounds or for light motion blur in water and people.
6-Stop ND – Provides moderate light reduction. Ideal for long exposures during the day to soften motion in clouds, waterfalls, or crowds without overexposing the image.
10-Stop ND – Strong light-blocking filter. Great for dramatic long exposures that smooth out water, blur skies, and remove moving elements from scenes in bright daylight.
**We cannot guarantee compatibility with our clip-in filters and any third party adapters, speed boosters, or lenses with more rear protruding elements.
Filters are made to order, please allow up to one week for shipment.
Our Kolari Magnetic Clip-in Filters for RED KOMODO are not compatible with the RED KOMODO X or the Z-Mount KOMODO X.
Some delivery addresses are classified by DHL as remote areas. These are locations that are farther away from major cities or standard delivery routes, such as rural towns, islands, or hard-to-reach regions.
Because of the extra time and cost required to deliver there, DHL applies a Remote Area Surcharge (RAS).
With our shipping calculator, these surcharges are now shown before you place your order.
If your address is flagged as a remote area, we recommend checking whether you have an alternative address (such as a workplace or a friend/family member’s address) that is not on DHL’s remote area list. This can help you avoid the surcharge.
You can verify whether an address is in a remote area by checking DHL’s current list of postal codes:
